Airlines will not allow people to hold surströmming on flights. Due to superior tension from the can along with the lower force inside the cabin, the higher tension differential may lead to some cans rupturing, spewing the smelly liquid into your aircraft…and it isn’t as if you can go away a airplane even though its flying or open up a window.
